“We have built an outstanding support team. Now I am trying to bring all that experience into partnerships.”

Gonzalo Zawadzki is the Partnerships Manager at Learnosity. A true cosmopolitan, Gonzalo is a native of Argentina, has a Polish surname, an Italian passport, and lived in Ireland for almost a decade.

What do you do at Learnosity?

I manage Learnosity’s Partner Ecosystem. My job is to help clients and partners integrate their products and build cool solutions using them. I also work with sales, product, and engineering teams on potential new partnerships and technical integrations with some of the world’s most innovative edtech companies. The goal is always to extend our products and services to satisfy our clients’ needs.

How did you get into that area?

I started my career in software development and over the years I transitioned to a more client/business-facing role. I always liked to help others to solve technical problems and trying to understand their needs. I joined Learnosity 7 years ago to help build a team that would bridge the technical – business divide.

In the early years of my time here I was focused on clients, working on the technical side of Business Development and Client Support. We have built an outstanding support team. Now I am trying to bring all that experience into partnerships.

What would you say has been your biggest challenge at Learnosity to date?

Change is the only permanent thing in life. Learnosity is constantly evolving and so are our clients. We can change with them by listening at all times, being empathetic to their needs, and being responsive to their requests. Those are the keys for delivering an outstanding product and service.

I love that everyone is approachable. It’s a place where you can present your ideas, make them happen, and always take opportunities to learn something new. Click To Tweet

What work project are you most proud of and why?

Well, here’s a recent one. I’ve been working on a full review of our Partner Ecosystem, doing a lot of research and information gathering. I met with each of our current partners with the following aims: 1) get a better understanding of their status, 2) learn how they work with our clients, and 3) listen to their needs so we can work together to make the partnership more successful. I learned a lot about how they are a key piece to most of our clients’ solutions. This gave me a good insight into the value that they bring to clients while letting Learnosity focus on its core products and services.

In your opinion, what makes working at Learnosity different?

I love that everyone is approachable here. You can have a coffee with the founders, work on cross-team projects, collaborate with colleagues across different offices and timezones. It’s a place where you can present your ideas, make them happen, and always take opportunities to learn something new.

What do you do to relax in your spare time?

Music is my passion. I enjoy a wide variety of music and try to find as much time to play the guitar as I can. Blues is what I feel most comfortable with. I can put some old Eric Clapton album and spend hours jamming over it! But I enjoy going to gigs of all kinds and am always looking for places with live music. I also love traveling, so whenever I take time off from work it’s probably because there’s some new place in the world I want to explore.

I started jazz guitar lessons last year and practice as much as I can.
Japan was one of the most amazing places I have been to…so far 🙂
