“I truly believe in this company’s mission and the product they are providing to their clients.”

Allain Dollete is a member of Learnosity’s support team in the city that never sleeps – New York.

What do you do at Learnosity?

I’m an Application Support Engineer. My team is the primary point of contact for clients on any issues, queries, or concerns they have in relation to the technical implementation of Learnosity’s product suite.

How did you get into that area?

I was originally a Mechanical Engineer but not long ago I took a strong interest in web technology. As a former educator, I truly believe in this company’s mission and the product they are providing to their clients.

What would you say has been your biggest challenge at Learnosity to date?

With the endless ways that a client can implement our product, it can be challenging at times to fully grasp what they’re trying to achieve. That makes communication so important – you really need to be a good listener to give clients the support they need.

What work project are you most proud of and why?

I worked on an internal beta tool that lets users create question templates with a live preview of what their authors will see without having to build the JSON data from scratch. This can then be sent to Learnosity for implementation, potentially saving users time and resources when setting up their authoring environment.

In your opinion, what makes working at Learnosity different?

One of the things that stood out to me shortly after I joined Learnosity was how transparent the company leaders are in keeping employees up to date about the company’s strategy, direction, and development. It’s refreshing to see how that level of honesty is also there when dealing with other teams in the business.

What do you do to relax in your spare time?

When I’m off the clock, my pups and I like to explore the trails in upstate New York and maybe visit a brewery or two 🍺! We also travel internationally once a year.

Taking in the view from the Giant Ledge in the Catskills with my dogs Jasper and Kiri (you can see a lot more of both right here!).
