AI-generated hints
As part of our Math AI suite, AI generation of hints is available to help authors boost productivity across the math, multi-step math, and label image with math question types—while also enriching the learner experience with formative support.
Authors can choose between two hint styles:
- Problem overview with step-by-step instructions: Starts with an overview of the problem, defines key concepts, and outlines a general solving strategy before providing step-by-step instructions. This gives learners a structured pathway without immediately revealing the full solution.
- Step-by-step guided solution: Delivers detailed, sequential guidance to walk learners through solving the problem—helping learners understand the process.
Display hints for learners
This demo showcases AI-generated hints from the learner's perspective, using the problem overview and step-by-step format. Learners can reveal hints as needed for guided support throughout the solution process, so they don't see the full answer upfront.
