This demo shows how Feedback Aide evaluates categorization in workplace communication training. It supports the development of self-awareness, professional tone, and verbal planning, skills aligned to frameworks of Human Effectiveness and Audio/Visual. By sorting statements by function, learners deepen their understanding of how to handle conflict, clarify issues, and build rapport under pressure. Here you’ll evaluate a categorization task focused on effective communication during customer support interactions. See how responses 1, 2, and 3 show varying degrees of mastery, as can be seen by the feedback.

How to use this demo

1. Start by choosing a response and then clicking 'Generate Feedback'.
2. Feedback Aide evaluates that each phrase is placed in the correct category and scores the response.
3. Review both the rubric and the 'Feedback to learner' to see the justifications behind the scores.
4. The human grader has final say. Interact with the rubric to adjust scores and edit the feedback to the learner as needed.



What is Categorizing?

Test comprehension through classification.
This rubric type asks learners to sort words, ideas, or facts into correct groups based on evidence, understanding, or logic. It evaluates how well students can organize information meaningfully—building skills in making distinctions, identifying traits, and applying criteria for grouping.
