The multi-step math question type allows learners to submit multi-line responses. This is ideal for authors and teachers who want learners to show their work while still allowing flexibility in how they solve the problem. Scored by our advanced math engine, feedback is given line-by-line to help learners spot mistakes in their solution and learn in real time.
Demo 1: Solving equations
This demo shows how the multi-step math question type allows learners to demonstrate their equation-solving skills. The question accommodates different solving strategies or varying numbers of steps. This demo has been configured so that after selecting 'Check Answer,' the learner receives feedback on their solution.
