With the Math Question type, students can type their math expressions directly. This allows for free-form input such as equations, expressions, or answers, and doesn’t force students into fixed answer choices.
Auto-scored with our most advanced scoring engine, it recognizes mathematically equivalent answers, allowing for multiple valid forms such as reordered variables, tolerance, or decimal–fraction interchangeability.
In this demo, we have a few different examples to show its' flexibility to suit a variety of needs. The response boxes can be placed inline with text, on multiple lines, within a table or embedded within a math expression.
