COVID-19: How Learnosity is responding

I hope you and your loved ones remain in good health at this extraordinary time. As valued Learnosity customers, partners, and colleagues in the industry, we wanted to share with you the measures we’re taking to navigate our way through this crisis.

We’ve been keeping a close eye on the COVID-19 outbreak since early February, and shortly thereafter started putting together staff safety, work from home, contingency, and other business and service continuity plans.

As part of our plan of action, we:

  • Put in place a global response team to monitor employee and business risk at the start of March.
  • Started in early March to ensure every single employee was set up to work effectively from home, should the offices need to close.
  • Closed our New York office on Monday March 9th, with Dublin and Sydney offices following on Thursday March 12th.
  • Scaled up our internal load testing initiatives and infrastructure, with the expectation of increased traffic load due to school and university closures.

These steps keep our people safe, but they also make sure that our customers and their products will continue to receive best-in-class service and support from us during this difficult period.

We’re expecting significant traffic to your products, now that online learning has suddenly become the standard, and we’ve accounted for that. We’ve been planning, load testing, and monitoring more than ever to make sure that we can comfortably handle the increased demand. Rest assured – we’ve got this.

As the situation progresses, we’ll keep you informed of anything that may impact your day-to-day business. We also ask you to let us know if you’re experiencing any major changes that we should be aware of, or that we may be able to assist with. Please reach out to our Customer Success and Support teams with any further questions you may have, and our people will be ready and willing to help.

Our mission, to power better student outcomes for learners everywhere, has never been more important. We’re living in unprecedented times for education – a moment for the history books – and you’ve put your trust in us. We won’t let you down.

Stay safe,

Gavin Cooney
